About Parkinson's Disease

Because Parkinson’s is a progressive disease, symptoms may increase in frequency and severity over time. Home health care allows patients to remain comfortably in their home while receiving care.

In addition to therapy, Parkison’s patients may require home safety modifications, help with grooming and dressing, light housekeeping and meal preparation.

By working with the patient’s physician, our home health team is able to manage symptoms and provide a stable and effective treatment approach.

How We Can Help

We develop a customized care plan for each patient based on the progression of their disease. Our home health aides, nursing staff, and therapists work together to provide comprehensive care.

Medication Management

Parkinson’s patients commonly take a variety of medications at different doses and times to manage symptoms. We help keep patients on track to avoid missed doses and receive the greatest benefit.

Physical Therapy

Physical, occupational, and speech therapy all play a role in the treatment of Parkinson’s. Our therapists work together to help gait and tremors, communication, and mental function.

Support & Education

Living with Parkison’s is challenging for both patients and loved ones. Our social workers can help identify resources and local support. Our staff also provides education on safely living at home.
